Let’s talk about a heater we built for the folks who are squeezed for space but still need serious power. We designed this 2500W halogen lamp for engineers who need a ton of heat, but just don’t have room for a giant machine.
The power in a Small Frame
Here’s the deal. It runs on 400V and packs a full 2500W punch. And we managed to squeeze all that into a tube that’s only 300mm long. That’s the whole idea, really—maximum wattage in a minimal footprint. You get a huge blast of heat without taking up a lot of real estate. It slips right into those tight spots in a machine bay. Just keep in mind, with that kind of concentrated power, your cooling system needs to be ready for the extra warmth.
Built to Last, Built to Fit
Inside, you’ve got a quartz tube with a halogen element. The halogen cycle is key here—it keeps the filament stable, so it doesn’t burn out even when you’re switching it on and off constantly. We also added a special coating to the quartz. It helps control the infrared output and shields the element. And for the connection, it uses an R7s connector. That means it’s a simple, secure fit—a straight swap for any equipment that’s already set up for R7s.
Where It Shines
This thing is perfect for jobs like PET blowing, plastic welding, or smaller drying tasks. The shortwave infrared heat blasts the surface you’re working on directly, not the whole room. That means you get precise, pinpointed heat exactly where you need it. And because it’s so compact, it makes integration a breeze. You spend less time redesigning things on the shop floor. Just remember, you’re getting intense, focused heat. It’s powerful. So you just need to plan your thermal management accordingly.
