We kept the footprint exactly the same as the original Sidel and Husky specs, so they slide right into your existing oven racks. No fuss.&#xA;We also used high-grade quartz glass. Why? Because these things take a beating under high-voltage loads, and we don&amp;rsquo;t want them burning out on you prematurely.&#xA;One thing to keep in mind: these lamps usually run at higher wattages to keep your cycle speeds up. That extra power means more heat in the oven. Just make sure your cooling fans are clean and actually working, or your oven housing is going to get way too hot.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Keeping them running&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We used standard connectors like R7s or Sk15. You can wire them up fast during a changeover without having to modify your machine.&#xA;If you want these tubes to last, keep the quartz clean. Seriously. A few fingerprints or a smudge of oil can create hot spots on the glass. That stresses the quartz, and then it cracks.&#xA;Grab a lint-free cloth and some isopropyl alcohol and wipe them down.
