Let’s be honest: most PET plants are a bit of a mixed bag. You’ve probably got three different brands of machines running at once. When a lamp finally burns out, the last thing you want is to spend two weeks begging an OEM for a proprietary part while your line sits idle. It’s a nightmare. That’s why we built our infrared lamps to be simple drop-in replacements. They fit about 95% of the equipment out there. You just swap them and get back to work. The nitty-gritty on power We keep our tubes to the exact same footprint as the industry standards—usually 250mm or 300mm. But the real secret is the wattage-to-voltage ratio. By using high-voltage setups (like 400V), we can push more heat into the filament without blowing your circuit. This is what actually softens the PET preform quickly. Just a heads-up: make sure your power supply can handle those peaks, or you’ll be tripping breakers all morning. What’s actually inside? We use high-purity quartz glass and halogen gas. Why? Because the halogen cycle stops the tungsten filament from evaporating too fast. It basically means your lamps last longer. For the ends, we stick with R7s and Sk15 connectors. They aren’t fancy, but they’re the workhorses of the industry. They snap into the socket firmly, which means no loose connections and no scary electrical arcs. A few things to keep in mind These lamps are built for speed. They warm up fast and give you a lot of control over the heat. But here’s the trade-off: when you push max wattage in a tight oven, things get hot. Really hot. If your cooling fans are clogged with dust or just plain broken, you risk melting your sockets. Keep those fans clean. We keep these specs in stock and ready to ship. No need to modify your machine frame or spend hours re-wiring. Just slide the old tube out, pop ours in, and start producing again.
