The second your sensors feel a dip in temp, the system bumps the voltage and the lamp hits full power in milliseconds. It’s fast. Really fast. And that’s how you kill those annoying “cold spots” that usually plague convection setups.
Fitting the Gear to Your Oven
Rotary ovens are tight. There’s barely any room to breathe in there. We don’t do one-size-fits-all. We figure out the exact lamp length and wattage based on your drum diameter. If you’re running a massive line, we’ll go with higher voltage. This keeps the current low, which means you don’t have to cram giant, bulky wires into your control cabinet. Plus, we use quartz envelopes so the lamps don’t crack when they’re cycling on and off rapidly. But here’s the catch: these lamps put out a ton of heat in a very small space. If your reflectors are crooked or your vents are clogged, you might actually warp the oven chassis. Just make sure your cooling fans can handle the total wattage of the array.
No One Likes Downtime
Nobody wants to spend four hours rewiring a lamp while the production line is dead in the water. It’s a nightmare. That’s why we use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. They’re basically plug-and-play. If a tube burns out, your maintenance crew can swap it in a few minutes and get back to work. When you link these lamps to a closed-loop feedback system, it just works.
