We use tungsten filaments and high-purity quartz glass to get the heat exactly where it needs to be. One of the best parts? They hit full temperature in under two seconds. No more standing around waiting for a slow convection heater to finally kick in. But a quick heads-up: these things pull a lot of power right at the start. Make sure your wiring can handle a 250W or 400W draw. Also, because the heat is so concentrated, the lamp surface getsreallyhot. Give them plenty of breathing room during installation so you don’t accidentally scorch your ceiling.
A Healthier Way to Do Things
Think of these lamps as a helping hand for your ventilation fan. By keeping the room’s surfaces warm, you stop condensation from forming in the first place. It’s a simple mechanical fix for a gross biological problem. Just keep in mind that the lamp doesn’t “delete” the water—it just turns it into vapor. You still need your exhaust fan working to pull that air out of the room. If your vent is blocked, the moisture is still there; it’s just warmer.
